Hottest Days on Record

We arrived in London to the "HOTTEST DAYS ON RECORD".  Three days of temperatures exceeding 98 F. / which is HOT.  Even for LA folks this was HOT.

Non-the-Less, Fiona, Tanner and I had a wonderful time exploring London with my cousin Anna.  Here's a little photo collection to start with.

Where did it all begin? (Original 8/4/15 - Updated 4/14/25)

I was recently asked by some young students, where I got my start in art... Where did it all begin? For that, I had to think a little... and then it became rather easy to explain. I have always enjoyed color, coloring, crayons, drawing, and from a very young age remember drawing and painting in the kitchen when my mum was cooking or doing whatever it is mum does when a child is drawing.  I distinctly remember putting my paintbrush into a glass of Orange Juice instead of the water beaker because I was using Orange Paint and they both looked the same.  I must have been about 5 years old.   I have recollections of bright and colorful things as a child, which undoubtedly have influenced me.  My parents taking me places, encouraging my creativity, and always singing, and dancing, and just enjoying art and my surroundings. I remember Daffodils.  Mum would recite poetry and I know that has had some impact. Art and Music go hand-in-hand in our family... ...
