Madrona Marsh

 Seasons Greetings:

A New Fine Art Collection featuring
The Four Seasons as Experienced
Within the Madrona Marsh.
I will be working on this Next project over the 2016 - 2017 Seasonal Year.

I will will be Plein Air Painting at various times this summer.  Check with the calendar, or with Marsh Information desk to find out when I will be there.

From the Sketchbook:

The Native Plant Garden that surrounds the Nature Center allows the birds to wake up a variety of shrubs and flowers every day.  It is a great way for locals to learn about drought tolerant plants, how and where best to plant them, and what birds, bees, and butterflies they will attract.  In the mornings it is bustling with birds and alive with their songs.

I really enjoy walking then when time allows finding a spot to sketch or paint.  I have various favorites spots, but confess that changes every time I visit.  The marsh is constantly changing and as a result, what I look at is always changing.  Never the same place twice.

As you can see, the Madrona Marsh is a beautiful place to explore all year long.  Explore on your own, or explore with a docent led tour.  You will always find something new.  Check out the
MADRONA MARSH CALENDAR for a current list of programs and special events for you and your family to enjoy.
